Brushes are utilized for efficient creation of standard quality masks, while the magnetic lasso is employed for precise rendering of high-quality masks. Both tools can be used simultaneously, and finally, feathering of the mask edges can be applied.
To create a superimposed or juxtaposed image swiftly, simply follow these steps:
- Begin by cutting out the object.
- Next, blend the two images promptly.
When creating a superimposed/juxtaposed image, you will need two images to initiate your composition. The foreground image can be cut out/masked, resized, moved, and rotated to seamlessly blend with the background image. The background image serves as the canvas onto which you can overlay the foreground image.
An essential aspect is isolating the foreground from the background to enable recoloring only the foreground. The Cutting Out Lasso App offers two types of cutting-out tools: the Magnetic Lasso and the Brush Pen. Both tools support zooming and moving the canvas using two fingers. It is advisable to maximize canvas size when adding anchor points or drawing a mask, then utilize two fingers to navigate the canvas.
Brush Pen is used for rapid completion of standard quality masks, while the magnetic lasso ensures accurate rendering for high-quality masks. It is possible to use both tools simultaneously, eventually leading to precise edge feathering.
Features:
- Magnetic Lasso: This tool identifies and adheres to an object's edge as you trace along its outline by discerning differences in color and brightness values between the object and its background. As you trace along an object's edge, fastening points are placed to anchor the selection. The Magnetic Lasso comprises numerous anchor points forming a closed curve; tapping the screen with one finger adds a new anchor point, while swiping with one finger accurately repositions anchor points.
- Pen: You can directly paint on the canvas mask, with brush size adjusting based on canvas scaling.
